A Pre-entry focus naturally involves youth crime prevention and the juvenile justice system.  The Young Influencers Program (YIP) addresses issues in youth justice by empowering youth (ages 13+) to make positive media stories about the future of America.  YIP participants become media stars, producing on-camera interviews with leaders and reformists who make an impact at the beginning of the criminal justice process or who stop crimes from happening.  The experience YIP Youth gain from sitting down with role models, making useful content, and learning modern work skills, gives at-risk youth fresh perspective and the confidence to travel a new path.
